A majority of Americans are pro capital punishment until they realize how many fellow citizens have been jailed and/or sentenced to death row until DNA evidence exonerated them. Regarding another item on your list: terrorists. We all consider these evil beings to be lower than s and inhuman, but condoning torture is inhumane, creates more terrorists and terrorism, and lowers the U.S. to their level of indecency and violence. However, most Americans understand that the culprits of 9/11 must be captured or killed. Your stand on social issues are definitely left of center, which would also be representative of the Democratic party.
