Celestial Mirror in Macalania Woods/Rusty Sword in Chamber of Stolen Fayth?

I am currently playing Final Fantasy 10. I am searching for the Rusty Sword so I can unlock Auron's legendary weapon. I already have the Cloudy Mirror. So, I went to the Chamber of The Stolen Fayth outside of the Calm Lands and looked EVERYWHERE and couldn't find it. Then I remembered I had to get the Celestial Mirror from the Macalania Woods. Well, I talked to the woman and son and was on the search for the husband, and I cannot find him ANYWHERE. I went down both paths and went down numerous roads, but the only people I encountered were the guard blocking the way to Bevelle and the erfly guy. So I need EXACT, SPECIFIC directions on how to find the husband in the Macalania Woods and tips on how to find the Rusty Sword.
