What would you do if your kid acted ungrateful and bratty after you just bought something nice for her?

Find her a sitter, and take someone else. Why should you miss out because of a bratty child? Don't give her a birthday either. If you can't go, nobody does. You have to be tough on kids, when they act up. You can't even give in a little. They have to know who's in charge.
