Why do people in blue collar work environments dislike decent people?

I've notice that educated (White Collar) work environments seem to have more decent people in them than blue collar environments. It puzzles me why dignified and decent people are disliked or they seem to attract haters on the job. Especially, if your not into gossip or if you don't get caught up in the politics of the job. It seems to make these ignorant & apathetic people snarl at a person. Why
